Is there a mod for Fallout: New Vegas that lets me fast-travel to anywhere I want?
I know about explorer but I want to be able to fast-travel EVERYWHERE. I've already beaten the game twice and I've restarted with a bunch of mods but I can't find one that FULLY unlocks my map.

Depends which Platform you're using. If you're using Fallout New Vegas on the PC then type in on the Console after pressing the button under "ESC": tmm 1" The space in between tmm and 1 is needed. If you're console then no can do, unless you've modded the game, best thing related to it is the "Explorer" perk. Good luck and happy exploring the Mojave Wasteland!

Do plants regrow their fruits in Fallout New Vegas?

I think the only places where items would respawn would be in containers like mailboxes and dumpsters, though it's mostly miscellaneous trash and skill magazines.
I don't think any indoor areas have respawning containers except for faction safehouses, where someone comes by to restock.

Im on the mission Still in the Dark. I've gotten to the point where i need to oust Elder McNamara and get him kicked out of the brotherhood to help Hardin but there is no map marker telling me what to do?

I have made 4 different characters siding with all the different factions, i have done almost all the quest, i currently have i think 30,000+ caps with each different character and have almost all the weapons and discovered all the locations on the map with about 150+ hours playing the game.

I am planning on getting Fallout 3 GOTY tomorrow because from the videos i watch on youtube, it looks amazing. But i also was looking at New Vegas on youtube a little bit too, and i was wondering what the big difference is? The graphics are the same, and the environment is the same. Fallout New Vegas: Right Analog Stick Malfunction?
I was recently playing Fallout New Vegas and out of no where my right analog stick in the game wont work. I can't look around to observe my environment or kill anyone but I seem to be able to use it only in the map on my Pip Boy. Any suggestions/remedies will do nicely for me and thank you for participating.

Try using vats to kinda pan the camera and make Your way to the old mormon fort in freeside, get a RAD fix from the chick with the mohawk, that fixed mine, too 5mins to fix. What I was trying to do before that was use VATS to move around until the game caught up with itself, zone around, interact with npc's, pick locks, eventually the glitch will thull out. i use xbox360.international postal service

Should I buy Fallout: New Vegas?
I have a Xbox 360 without Gold. I'm considering buying Fallout New Vegas, but I'm not really sure. I already have Fallout 3 GOTY and I thought it was pretty good, but not great. I've heard Fallout New Vegas doesn't have that many differences from Fallout 3, besides a faction system (and a new map, weapons, and enemies, obviously) Should I buy New Vegas, wait for the GOTY edition, or just buy something else like Fable 3?Should I buy Fallout: New Vegas?

Get Borderlands game of the year edition, comes with addons, its a shooter/rpg, hours of game play, lots of main quests and side quests and you can drive in the game, tons of weapons, its open world, you can play single player or multiplayer...its awesome thats what i'm playing right now, I play in on pc and got if from amazon. They have it for xbox 360 Go get it....:)

You should definitely buy Fallout: New Vegas. Many new features have been added, and things are a bit more realistic. Plus, the New Vegas Strip is VERY cool, and lively. Fallout 3 never had a place like that in the world.

Fallout New Vegas Not too Appealing?
Don't get me wrong, I definitely enjoyed the game although what was Bethesda thinking when they launched New Vegas with such a short story line and limited map space as a follow up to the Game of the Year FO3? I mean FO3 has a huge map compared to New Vegas (the map of which is even lesser due to the miles of desert) Does anyone have any news about Fallout in general? Any new plans for future expansions/games?Fallout New Vegas Not too Appealing?
Firstly, Obsidian made it, Bethesda basically just supervised. Also, it's a side-story. It's not part of the main story line, it wasn't intended to be as long as Fallout 3. That's why there was no DLC to keep the story going, like Broken Steel did for F3.
The map was roughly the same size, but it wasn't set up the same way. Remember how they have Rivet City in the bottom right corner, and then Raven Rock all the way up in the top left corner? NV's map was all squished in the middle. But I digress.
As for future games;
Bethesda supposedly plans to make Fallout 4 after Skyrim - rumor, the game they're working on after Skyrim isn't yet confirmed, but I wouldn't be surprised if they jump straight into Fallout 4 while the water's hot.
Also, Interplay and Masthead Studios are still working on Fallout Online, a Fallout MMO from the original creators, which I'm super excited for.Fallout New Vegas Not too Appealing?
Both game have their own strength and weak point but overall it has provide enough satisfaction for million of gamers around the globe.
I trust Bethesda have their own way of going forward and hopefully in future they will come up with something else that will give us all more satisfaction than before.

Firstly, Obsidian made it, Bethesda basically just supervised. Also, it's a side-story. It's not part of the main story line, it wasn't intended to be as long as Fallout 3. That's why there was no DLC to keep the story going, like Broken Steel did for F3.
The map was roughly the same size, but it wasn't set up the same way. Remember how they have Rivet City in the bottom right corner, and then Raven Rock all the way up in the top left corner? NV's map was all squished in the middle. But I digress.
As for future games;
Bethesda supposedly plans to make Fallout 4 after Skyrim - rumor, the game they're working on after Skyrim isn't yet confirmed, but I wouldn't be surprised if they jump straight into Fallout 4 while the water's hot.
Also, Interplay and Masthead Studios are still working on Fallout Online, a Fallout MMO from the original creators, which I'm super excited for.Fallout New Vegas Not too Appealing?
Both game have their own strength and weak point but overall it has provide enough satisfaction for million of gamers around the globe.
I trust Bethesda have their own way of going forward and hopefully in future they will come up with something else that will give us all more satisfaction than before.

They are very well optimized. However, if you compare these maps with a smaller one such as Liberty City in GTA IV, you will find much more detail in the GTA map.

There's man hole in fallout new vegas in a place on the map called "abandoned bos bunker." And it says "open drainage grate to brotherhood of steel bunker" and that a key is required to open it, but I don't know where that key is. Anybody know? And. My companions stayed behind in the building when I went outside to fix the panels. I finished the mission on my own but now when I look at my map (only in the Helios main building) they are shown a good 7 inches off anything, just in "the void" wtf do I do? i found this note(in the game) that tells me where a snipers nest is, for ammo/parts and whatnot, the note says to go to coordinates 12, -22, the world map has no reference for coordinates, how do i know where to go?Fallout new vegas world map question?
The Sniper's nest indicated by De Leon, David is a location in the Mojave Wasteland. The Gobi Campaign scout rifle can be found there in a footlocker with a very hard lock (requires 100 lock picking). A Sunset Sarsaparilla star bottle cap can be found on the Wooden bench.
The Sniper's nest is located on the southeast part of the world map. I'll tell you how to get there from a few of the closest places just because I don't know what you've discovered yet.
-It's just a few miles West of Cottonwood Cove.
-A few miles East of Searchlight North Gold Mine.
-A few miles directly South of Ranger Station Echo.
I can also give you this link to a map of all of the locations on the map. It's labeled as: 166. Sniper's Nest.

It appears to be made of three rusty galvanized metal sheets with two for the sides and one for the roof. Shows to have enough room for one person maybe two. There is also a small camouflaged net where a sniper could lay overlooking the Legion Settlement at Cottonwood Cove. It is possible to reach the shack without alerting the Legion.
In addition to the special sniper rifle here, which is well worth getting, there are .308 rounds and a bed at this location.

If you're looking to get DLC for NV, Old World Blues (the most recent one), is probably the most fun. Honest Hearts is good too, and the area it takes place in is beautiful. I didn't care much for Dead Money. It's ok if you want a challenge and the characters are good, but it's just so difficult it gets irritating when compared to the other two. I mean, you may want to play it at some point for the trophies/achievements, but if you're only getting one I'd say Old World Blues.

Unless the cheat you installed included a way to reverse this, then no. Best thing to do before installing a cheat is to make sure you're gonna want what its doing. Because once installed, it's there. If you uninstall it, it is possible it will corrupt your saves and you'll have to start over.
NOTE: In the future, you don't need a cheat to unlock the maps. They have the perk "Explorer" you can obtain via a console command which will give you all the map locations. Save the game before activating this console command and then when you're done looking at the locations or w/e u needed them for, then reload to the save you just made. It is what I've done when I wanted to see if I was missing any locations on the map (without actually having to waste a perk on the Explorer perk).
To initiate this perk, you'll have to open up the console by typing the tilda key (~). Once the console is up (you'll see a white blinking thing at the top of the screen) type "player.addperk 00031de5" (Make sure there is a space between "addperk and 00031de5"). I think I've used the "removeperk" console command but it doesn't work. So basically you'll be using this perk to find a location then reloading to a prior save. Anyway, hope this helps. Most likely, you'll have to try and uninstall this cheat and, if you can't, you'll have to reinstall the game. I'd suggest avoiding cheats unless you ABSOLUTELY know you want them (forever). I can't really grasp what you guys are talking about in terms of "lag" for an off-line game so . . . no comment on that one.

Reviewers have been complaining about the horrible technical problems. Everyone is having the lag problems, as far as I can tell. It sucks, but hopefully they patch it.
As far as the map: I don't think anyone has had the time to scout the entire game, and then post one, yet. It's been out for less than 24 hours, remember. It will probably take some time for guides and maps to be posted.

The maps are the same size proportionally, however the different resolutions might change how large things appear to be.
